15 ottobre - Reels & Wheels
When engines enter the collective imagination.

There are cars and motorcycles that have made racing history. Others have earned a place in our memory thanks to cinema, television, and images that have spanned entire generations.

Among the most anticipated moments of the day was a conversation with Corrado Lopresto dedicated to the sixtieth anniversary of the Alfa Romeo Duetto, a car that continues to represent an idea of elegance, freedom, and Italian style.

The stories that are imagining the future and the female vision. Every great innovation is born from a vision. Behind every change is someone who had the courage to imagine what didn’t exist yet. And there are girls and women who are writing a new chapter in motorsport.

Next is the day dedicated to those who are redefining the future of motorsports passion through design, technology, entrepreneurship, and new creative languages. It is also dedicated to highlighting the impact of women on an ever-evolving world.

Ideas that become heritage – design & supercars

Some vehicles stand the test of time without losing their power. They’re not simply beautiful or innovative: they become part of our culture. Icons is a day dedicated to the people who have contributed to creating this legacy of design, engineering, craftsmanship, and vision.

The day will host several special events dedicated to the content featured throughout the festival: the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Carrozzeria Touring, the Design, Memory, and Heritage dialogue with Corrado Lopresto, the story of the connection between Via Appia and Lancia Appia, and the Concorso d’Eleganza in Miniatura.

Five model makers will present ten 1:64 scale dioramas inspired by cars that have left their mark on the history of cinema. They will be judged by an exceptional jury composed of Corrado Lopresto, Richard Adatta and Lorenzo Ramaciotti, among the most authoritative judges of international Concours d’Elegance, from the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.

Where passion continues to run – racing & performance

There are stories that aren’t measured solely in kilometers, but in courage, dedication, and the people who have chosen to live their passion without compromise.

Limitless is the day that celebrates motorsport and the communities that bring it to life every day.

Drivers, navigators, tuners, collectors, and protagonists of the racing world share experiences that speak of challenges, sacrifices, nights spent in the workshop, victories and defeats. Because behind every milestone, there’s always a story made up of people.

Among the day’s highlights were the tribute to Piero Taruffi, the celebration of 120 years of the Targa Florio, and Inside the Club, the space dedicated to car clubs and communities that preserve and pass down the passion for motorsports from one generation to the next.

SCOPRI DI PIÙ
Every great story has a beginning. At GranMotori, it begins over a coffee. Before the Festival opens its doors to the public, the Caffè in Piazza welcomes those arriving at the wheel of a vehicle that represents something special. It’s not a question of rarity, value, or prestige: what matters is the story that vehicle holds. It could be the car that has accompanied your family for generations, the motorcycle from your first trip, a restoration that took years, or a lifelong dream. Every vehicle has a story to tell, because every vehicle speaks of the people who chose it, lived with it, and loved it. The Caffè in Piazza is the first meeting of the day and the moment when Drivers & Dreamers begin to get to know each other. A simple, authentic, and informal ritual that transforms a group of enthusiasts into a community ready to experience the Festival together.
